Hi Callum,
Who have you told about your problems? ... trying to go through this alone is difficult (I know...). I had severe problems a few years ago - among them, OCD - but the first step to the long road to recovery was to 'confess' to someone that I needed help.
Try it..

So, stand your ground. Of course she's going to deny it on first attempt. Denying/ignoring mental illness is the easy option, and the majority of humans prefer the easier option. Print off a list of symptoms of your illness and present it to her. Ask her to read it and relate it to you. If she has any questions, encourage her to ask you.

I can't do that I'm fairly secluded from my parents, I rarely tell them anything, it took me 3 days to tell me my mum I thought I had OCD
