My wife has been bedridden and unable to eat for about 4 years due to multiple chronic illnesses, with severe pain. We separated about 3 years ago, after which she was in the care of her parents who abused her physically and emotionally. She is now in government respite care indefinitely (the place is excellent, it's like a home and the staff are great), and her physical condition is slowly improving.

I am so depressed, and I feel like I am going crazy. I have caught my husband in loads of lies. He's actually made up ex-girlfriends, and friends, even telling their names, where they live, where they work, what they looked like, and how he knew them...makes up stories about places he's been, restaurants he's gone too, etc...After I catch him in lies he always swears he won't lie again, but there is always more ...
