Why do people hate arrogance?

Ok, I know I'm persisting in this....it's an old topic...we've touched on it (albeit briefly).. BUT why?

..Why do people hate arrogance!? What's the big deal? Of all the traits a person can exhibit, why is arrogance among the most frequency cited when it comes to the ones people hate?

Like I said before and I'll say it again...I don't mind arrogance

Why do YOU personally hate arrogance (if you do)?

Can't get my one-eyed dragon to breath fire

I have had sex with my girlfriend twice and haven't been able to come either time. I think this is because I used to masturbate a ton and now my penis is callused. Also I always masturbate alone in my room so I don't think I can learn to finish with or in front of another person and in an environment drastically different from my room. ...

What's Your Most Used Phrase or Word?

I'm sorry to say mine is "I'm sorry". I bet I say that fifty times a day at least.

Just curious. I know many of us creatures of habit find words to use over and over. What's yours?

Hi

It happens every once in a while at night or in the morning always in bed. I usually get nausea and dizzy. My heart races and I have irrational fear. I don;t wanna go to bed, so worried that it will happen again. I do not know why they happen. ...

I am a monster.

I have been researching BDD on and off for years and today I had the impulse to look online (again) and see if I had anything in common with BDD sufferers. I came across this forum. I grabbed my gall and decided to post. I don't know whether or not I actually have BDD since I refuse to talk to anyone about it, preventing a proper diagnosis. But what I do know is that when ...

So many pedophile threads!

Do you just feel more guilt due to its social construction, and post about it more?

Or is there just a really large sub-section of the population that wants to have relationships/sex with children?

:/

I was late by an hour for work twice so I got a warning in my record, went back to my room and cried about it for a long time, made sure like 8 times my alarm was set and somehow still managed to sleep in, a half hour into my shift. Literally right after being told how important it is not to miss any shifts. My boss probably thinks I did it on purpose ...

Covert Emotional Abuse-Frame Control

Frame Control

Frame control is the invisible context upon which a social interaction is built, and the person with the strongest frame is likely to have the most leverage in the social interaction.

Emotional abusers love "frames". For instance, an emotionally abusive mother or father will use their entitlement as a parent to give them leverage over their children:

"I am your mother..."

"Don't talk to your mother that way..."

Men who are the bread ...
