I personally was affected by a suicide attempt in my family and the silence was deafening. Working with the community has been a huge part of my own healing process.

The issues of depression and mood disorder have far too long been in the darkness and silence. Come out with the Overnight Walk, a fundraising event for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

I was amazed at last year's turnout.
