My name is ryan and for my biology project I chose to do psychology. The field intrigues me deeply and I was wondering if anyone could answer five questions for me. Thanks in advance!

I got a friend who claims to be "slightly narcoleptic". I don't know much about Narcolepsy, but I didn't know there were levels of the condition. I basically thought you were or weren't. Well I mean I figured some people would have it worse than others, but my friend tells me that his condition is different than normal Narcolepsy.

At school(Adult high school), I smoke on the side entrance where few people go to smoke. After 1st period, I went out, only to see the most gorgeous girl ever. I just moved back to college about a month ago. I have one best friend who goes here and about 10 other good acquaintances.

I am having difficulties with those 10 friendships. I was playing volleyball with a few of them, and just have a hard time being myself around them. I get quiet, self-conscious around them. They have branched out and met new people, but I haven't.

The place I have been going to has claimed they need more time to check for AVPD, and I haven't brought myself to press the point, maybe I will in the somewhat near future. So far they've claimed generalized social phobia and agoraphobia I guess. I would rather like to know, so I guess I will begin plotting how to move a conversation towards that end >.>;

For at least half my life, my style of dress was painfully dull, even slobby.
