Good luck NSR. Sitting in cars is the worst for my back too.

I’ve been doing modified planks consistently every morning now as part of my daily routine & I took a short leisurely walk today for the first time in a week. There’s a little snow on the ground, so I wanted to take advantage of getting all that sunlight in my eyes & on my face. 8)

Ooo yeah , that vitamin D boost ! Sometimes in the winter I find a sunny spot against a wall and just kind of hang out there like a lizard , soaking it up . :D

Today my back is in pretty good shape and I actually drove 1-2 hours for work ( I have to travel to various sites during the week ) . Dare I hope ?

I'm going to ease off of walking during the week . There's a real possibility that whatever stress I'm putting on my back and hip during the workday is being made worse by walking a couple hours on top of it . It doesn't hurt to walk but I'm trying a few different routines and seeing what the results are . I didn't walk much last weekend and the Wednesday drive wasn't nearly as bad as it usually is . Could be a fluke but fingers are crossed .

I felt angry earlier, so I channeled that energy into going for a walk & doing two sets of planks. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have done as much. Might as well get some benefit being motivated by it.

Well I broke my ribs 5 weeks ago so I've been laid up

But I'm going to the doctors tomorrow to see about getting back up to strength again

Hoping to be able to go swimming
