A small update

Postby Dwelt » Thu Oct 08, 2020 7:39 pm

Hey guys !

We have a lot of things going on right now, nothing bad, but we're exhausted. Anyway, we wanted to give you a small update with how things are with our new T.

She's really great !
She talks to all the alters that want to talk, and even encourage them to come out when we're talking about something which is about them and how they feel ; she uses alter's names when she knows who is out, tries to understand how our system is working, and follow our pace.
She always makes sure we're okay with what she suggests, and let us time to think about it at home.

It's really impressive how she spots every movement inside : when we talk to each other, comment what she said, what the alter out said, when someone inside isn't comfortable with something she suggested, etc. she almost always sees it. It was a bit intimidating at first, we're not used to be that easily read by an outside person ; now, we find it nice, because some of us aren't used to share their thoughts with an outside person, but her asking what is going on, or asking if we're okay to share what the ones inside are saying, it helps them to get used to talk in a safe place.

Even Claude, who never talks to people outside, went out today to talk with her. He's never been out that much before, he never talked to someone outside that much before, I'm so proud of him.

She's not afraid to show her reaction to what we're saying, but always a controlled one. No matter what we say, she never stays blank or overreact, and this is exactly what we wanted and needed.

We agree on the therapy goal : working on the PTSD symptoms, and if fusion happens, then it's okay ; but it will not be our main goal.

She said she is impressed by all the work we have already done on our own, and for that, we wanted to thank all of you, guys. Without all the knowledge on this forum, and the advices you guys share here, we wouldn't have been able to progress that much.

I'm so glad we found her, and I hope things we settle down, so we could rest and be able to start to work more on our issues, with her help.

We hope all of are doing okay ; and if things are difficult for you right now, we hope it will be better soon !

Take care =)

Hi,

We always read your stuff. Glad you have a good new T.

We've been to France and think it's a really great place. It's super pretty and cool.
