We each are different in which sense is the strongest and most noticable.
When kitten is out, we would say her sense of smell is normal. Slightly stronger than other people we know, but not superhuman.
Little Wolf has the strongest sense of smell. She will rub her face on our husband to make sure we smell like him, and she will sniff at him when she's feeling stressed. When away from home we sleep with a t-shirt that he has "scented" for us. It calms the wolf as well as Lilly.
It is our understanding that Val has better hearing and hears better than she sees or smells.
Britney and Lilly are very sensitive to touch, but in different ways. Lilly is very sensitive in the sense that small touches elicit an intense response, especially soft, gentle ones, she loves being touched and touching. She will scratch our husband lightly but constantly as she falls asleep.
Myself, I don't feel that any of my senses are stronger or weaker than normal.
***TW Pain and intimate touching mentioned, not vulgar or descriptive, though.***
Britney enjoys "nice" touch, but she craves pain. Her pleasure/pain responses are mixed up and tied together. She is not satisfied with intimate encounters unless pain is involved on some level.
***End TW***
So, in short, I suppose part of it IS due to the dissociation. If we were all of one mind, not fragmented as we are, then it would all be rolled into one and one person would have better everything, if that makes sense.
