When you find your 13 yr trying to crawl through a "secret hatch" aka large cabinet to go through a porthole to get to Santa because the teen parts told the little that it was a secret hatch. Then the older boys laughing at the little because they felt it to be so funny.

One of the best examples is reading through previous posts and tripping buckets

Well....one time I got so angry and frustrated with therapy that I jumped up during session and started running around looking for myself. I ran out of the office with the therapist trailing after me...looking in rooms, under tables, the stair case etc...trying to find myself.

His stupid therapy was driving me nuts. The memory is funny to me now...at the time it wasn't.

bro texted he was feeling nostalgic. we start reminiscing.

I realized everything we remember is kind of (or really) ###$ up and abusive but we just laugh about it.

yup. exactly.

one time I was sitting in the drivers seat my car, with the engine running, just waiting to go to work. then I realized I had to actually drive the car. lol, I had been waiting for someone else to do it!

Though it is not fun when you have things saved on your computer, tablet or laptop and they get deleted and you are not the one to delete or remove what you are looking for. So you have reinstall if it is an app or a program that can be installed if it is something you have written then try to remember as much of it as you can if possible.

External hard drives are a must. We never rely on saving anything on the actual computer. They've been known to go *poof!* :?

We also have a Box account for cloud storage in case the external hard drive goes *poof!*, but that's not as likely. Still, cloud is a good idea. Haven't taken the time to back things up there, though.

You know you're DID when...

Someone asks you what you had for dinner last night, or what you did over the weekend and you legitimately can't remember, so you set there for 2 minutes trying to come up with an answer.

You know you're DID when...

Your kids (teenagers) tell you about a conversation you've had with them, but you can't remember it and you don't know if they are being truthful or just trying to get away with something, because they know you can't remember it.

When your friend doesnt answer his phone so you simply start having a conversation with yourself (you take pauses to hear what the other you is saying in your head and then you saying a sentence outloud). You have earohones the whole time some you hope people assume you are actually talking to someone
