Schizoids are lame people

Postby bobtwentynine » Fri Feb 15, 2013 7:48 pm

I've come to the conclusion that schizoids really aren't very interesting people. They think they are because being "weird" is their last refuge of pride and distinction, but when it really comes down to it, they're petty egotists and overwhelmingly boring.

One would think that a schizoid would be interesting. After all, not being able to find rank in the social phenomology ought to accord a person a pretty interesting perspective, a unique look into something other people are missing. I like to call it, "reflections from the drain hole." It can make for some pretty interesting fiction (Philip Dick-type stuff) and creativity.

The schizoids who post on this forum MOST are the most boring. especially the person with the picture of the dog...

...Where did you ever get the idea that we were interesting? We're boring as heck, I certainly am.
Good and bad are extremes, yet one and the same, linked in a never ending circle. If you accept that, then misery can be your biggest dream, happiness your biggest nightmare.”

I'm boring and so is basically everybody else. Where did you get the idea that schizoids think they're interesting?

No, we're pretty aware that we're boring. The most possible case would be that one finds himself interesting, rather than thinking he's interesting to others.

Hmmm.....I guess you would know... since evidently, you have found us schizoids "interesting enough" to have followed this forum assiduously, in order to be able to form such an opinion.
So I guess in a way for YOU....the fact that we are so boring is perversely "interesting"?
Go figure.......

Right. Furthermore, I was not aware that schizoids were even interested in being "interesting" to others! WTF?! Next thing, we will be told that our posts are not "entertaining" enough. Well, if I actually cared .....AND if there was some real money in it .....maybe I could spruce up my posts a little bit.....

I actually describe myself as "plain" and "boring" quite often. And it's true 99% of the time. It's actually other people saying I'm interesting on occasion, mostly. There are probably a couple "interesting" incidents a year for me. More when I was younger.
