Then the therapist wasn't right for you, when that happens you go on to another... it's not easy trying to find one that works for you right off the bat, keep trying.

Same story from professionals these days, sometimes i think they really dont put enough effort into their work.

Usually in the UK they have a good mental health support system going on, I'm surprised she didn't perhaps recommend you to go elsewhere, go get a second opinion there's something that can be done.

I have to disagree with ur comment about the mental health in the UK and from my experience and knowledge, resources are in massive need, and staff is required hugely, because it cannot take on the demand of patients currently.

Certain goverment parties were also looking into providing more resources for the mental health, but currently, its completly "stretched" in their words.

Hmm, I've heard how great it is from others, but maybe that's just hit and miss.

Yeah excuses is what it sounds like, like I said maybe it's denial I don't know - but it's frustrating anyways.

I think it depends on the area really.
Everything has been fine for me and I now I have a pretty cool psychologist and CPN and I've never waited that long to see anyone.

I waited just over a week to see the Early Intervention Team - so that was pretty fast.
