why try when there is no recovery

the YouTube videos say you never fully recover.
even chat gpt said you never recover from sex abuse/narc abuse.

it's been more than a decade since I had the nervous breakdown. after years of therapy I accepted there is no recovery. so why try living anymore :(
abusers won, I lost..
even novel on narc abuse... in fountainhead the evil tells to his victim: you know what I did to you n you can't let go. you've followed me in the name of ideals you'll continue following me. that's all your good for.

even I'll never recover. there goes my life.

mom said recently: we should've broken ties with the abuser's family when you were a child.
i wish she had done that. i wouldnt have been abused. maybe i'd be more assertive. maybe i'd not be so accepting of rude behavior of narc or others. i'd have less thershold of tolerance.
if only...

Just because you can't wipe this all away, as if it never happened, doesn't mean you can't have a life, regardless. Don't confuse 'not recover' with 'eternal disaster'. Never fully recover is probably more accurate.

May not be worth much, if at all, but I frequently remember you in my prayers, my friend. That you will find peace with yourself.
