Medical castration? That sounds extreme. If that is the best treatment for a pedophile...(on here I'm learning that pedophilia is a disease not a crime. and should be treated as such) is medical castration, would one volunteer for that? It seems like the last resort. Like if someone has displayed signs that they would act out on a child, or has acted out. For use as some preventative measure surely. But from what I'm reading, most pedophiles are like myself: Would faster kill themselves than molest an innocent young person. I've been sexually attracted to children since I was 17 years old. I've never considered even acting out on someone. Can't get in trouble for having a fantasy. according to MY therapist, pedophilia is a disease, not a crime. There is no statute that states that I am committing a criminal act by staring at an innocent picture of a young girl and relieving myself of the "tension" caused by staring too long.
It's harmless. But medical castration sounds extreme. I know that I'm gonna go to hell for my disease, though. So, I pray for forgiveness everyday. I stay in my home, and away from children. I don't hang out at schools, or playgrounds. I avoid children altogether. I stay away from friends that have young children in the home. (Unless they visit me, at my home) I'm safe here.

The best therapy for a pedophile, is to let them act out on something inanimate. A life-size doll. Complete with realistic skin. Almost just like those "realdolls" you can order over the internet. They should have a "RealKids" for us pedos. Then, the fantasy will be indulged. Nobody gets hurt. Everyone's happy.
