if they exist do they prefer girls or boys or both ?????/??

You only have to look at the news once in a while, and see how many female teachers have sexual relations with pupils.

Even then, it's only a small fraction that wind up being dealt with by the justice system.

Well, with the female teachers you hear about, it's usually teens. Hahaha. But yes female pedophiles exist, though as to who they prefer, it depends on the person...

Yeah, but they're probably attracted to their students with more mature bodies, however female pedophiles do exist though

They indeed do exist!
They're just as diverse as males in what ages they like and what about it that turns them on.
I know/knew female peds, and not one has been the same if I'm honest, they liked slightly different ages, different sexes, had different fantasies, some were extreme, some were not. There's female peds on this forum anyway who will probably reply to this.
It is sometimes a mistake to climb; it is always a mistake never even to make the attempt. If you do not climb you will not fall. This is true. But is it that bad to fail, that hard to fall?

"Paedophile" is British English and "pedophile" is American English.

I'm English and prefer the latter.

They exist. I didn't think so at one time. Now I know better.
"Paedophile" and "pedophile" are two variant spelling, the latter of which derives from two Greek words; the former, from Greek and Latin. The British, and most English speakers, spell it "paedophile." Americans stand virtually alone in their spelling of "pedophile."
I've spoken with female pedophiles who sound just like men in their predilections.
