Description of a struggle

Hello all,

By organization I could mean a medical branch, an educational branch, communes, "communities", "families" etc. To me a cult is anywhere where your freedom is restricted and there is any form of emotional or physical abuse and neglect. Re: Any intreseing book.

"The Shadow of the Wind" is pretty good for humanism outside the government. It has a interesting swerve in the plot which might be considered an extra feature. I dont know if Oprah Winfrey has reviewed it though!

A Question about Family Dysfunction/Mother's Favoritism

A Question about Family Dysfunction/Favoritism:

Here's a little tale about favoritism, featuring a mother-in-law who buries her head in the sand.

My boyfriend (we'll call him "Sean") has been experiencing severe depression over his relationship with his mother, which is currently on the downslide.

My "mother-in-law" (she's not legally my MIL, as PA doesn't recognize SSM) seems to have issues dealing with real-life family conflicts, and prefers to bury her head in the sand to ...
