Hi, 2nd day sober, with the help of Zoloft.
Feel weird,as I would have had 3 beers by now.
This is the 2nd time I have stopped drinking,1st time lasted 6 months, then I got sick of my sober (healthy brilliant ) life.

I am trying to find new ways to manage my illness, and was just wondering if you have any specific triggers before an episode? If so, is there anything that you do to prevent an episode or to make it less severe? Thanks so much.

As the title would suggest, how do you ask a coworker, class mate or the like to accompany you for lunch or watch a program etc without coming across as being weird or creepy? I am NOT talking about dating; just good old fashion comradery.

Does anyone else feel this way? When I'm not in a specific episode, I start to think that perhaps I'm not Bipolar. Even though I have experienced many, many, suicidal depressions that last months. I've experienced many hypomanic episodes that last the typical week-long duration. I experienced one intense mania that lasted a month. But for some reason - now that I'm in a "normal" period I think I'm normal. I'm ...

I don't mean to try imply that my experience is worse than others or something. I know there are people who have been sexually abused on these forums or abused in other forms and I recognise that's much worse than what I went through in these instances.
