Hi everybody.
I'm Max, and new here.
I'm glad to find a safe space online to talk about everything that is too taboo or sensitive. Sometimes sharing with strangers, and getting advice from strangers, helps a lot. All under the cloak of anonymity, of course.
I'm a computer guy, IT guru, programmer and general tech person. For fun I like to fool around with computers. That's what I do as my day job too, only sometimes I have to deal with users. Still looking for the user manual for humans...
I hope to give and get a lot here.

Hi. I'm a 38 (almost 39) year old divorced female. I have been diagnosed with severe depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and GAD. My issues began in early childhood and persist to this day. I now take lithium and paxil (and xanax as needed) but quite frankly they don't "do the trick" completely, though it is the best combination I've found after years of trying. Since this is only meant to be an introduction and not a life history, I will stop here, but suffice it to say that these issues have caused me tremendous heartache, and I am feeling this heartache every day. Quite frankly, I am here in hopes of not feeling so alone. It will be nice to "meet" all of you, and thanks to those that run this forum. I am sure it serves as a beacon in the night for many people.
I would say what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out...that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved. That there's something fundamentally wrong with me.

Hi Anthony and welcome to the forum. I'm really sorry to hear you have been struggling with depression for so long. I hope you stick around and talk more about what you are going through and seek some help for these issues that you face. It sounds like it is tough. Hopefully this can become a place of solace and comfort for you amongst people who have some understanding of what your situation is like.

Hi I'm True I am 24 and I'm not sure what I want to share or deal with yet I was abused as a child and now evewry so often I slip into a really nasty frame of mind and I need to understand what is going on. maybe it is time to deal with what happened because it is starting to cause problems in my marriage. I am not really looking for answers as I am looking for support my support structure is small and I have ended up relying on my husband I recently realized this isn't fair so hopefully this helps while I search for a counselor.

Hello,

I have been looking for outlets and information to help with my depression. I was diagnosed with depression and Bi Polar a long time ago. Recently I suffered a devastated breakup, lost my job and lost my home. I am at a very low point.

Hello everyone! After lurking as a guest for a few weeks I decided to join here as it seems to be a very open and welcoming environment which is very nice to see. I'm 24 years old and hoping some of my experiences will help other people in any way they can. Of course it's not entirely selfless as I hope to snap some puzzle pieces of myself together while I am here, but I imagine this may be the best place to be for now.

Hi!

I hope that I have finally found a place that is safe for me to chat. I am diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, major depression, general anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, and having dissociative traits. I tend to stay in my house rather than go out and meet new people so I hope this will be a place where I can socialize with people that understand. Thanks for reading. :D

Hello True and welcome. :D
I'm sorry to hear that you were abused and that you are struggling with the after effects of that and that it's causing problems in your marriage. I'm glad to hear that you are seeking some help and support, both here and in real life. I hope it helps you.
