Hey there. I'm a newbie and posted a topic this afternoon. Is anybody able to tell me how long it takes to approve a new post? I tend to obsess over things...surprise surprise...I've not been able to tear myself away from my computer since I hit submit...

Welcome to the forum, mambomama and EmotionalRobot. About post approval- there isn't a set amount of time. It depends on what the post was. And which moderators are online and not caught up in other things. It can vary from 10 minutes up to a day or so. We always get there in the end, though. Hope you enjoy being here and find it helpful.

Hi. I'm 39. Married with 2 boys 4 & 2. I'm very new to all of this and I'm struggling. I don't understand how I could live this long and not actually realize that I have a problem? How does someone go this long and just realize that they were 'cutter' as a young adult? I think I just didn't associate what I did as cutting. I don't understand why all of this is crashing down on me now, I don't understand where it came from. I do understand that I need help. I've never done anything this hard before.

I am new here figuring this out as I go along I am currently seeing a therapist Hopefully soon he will tell me what I have, he said he wants to see me a few more times first. Among other things i have insomia and am a recovering meth addict (6 months sober tomorrow yay ).

I dont know if I will stay here yet but you all look like nice folks so i decided to give it a try
