If I had a chance to kill Hitler I would do it, even if it costs my life.

If you had a dog.. That barks all day... You hate it. You can't give this dog to anyone, but you have headache everyday because of this... Only chance to make it stop to kill it with a knife, because you don't have guns.
Would you do it?

I wouldn't want to, but since I'm sensitive to sounds it might eventually feel like torture and I might decide to kill it. After all, a dog that barks all the time isn't probably a happy dog. I would sedate it first and then cut its carotid arteries.

If time travelling was possible and you were to travel back in time to kill Hitler before he kills/has anyone killed, and in the last minute you found out that he is your great-grandfather and there would be a 20% probablity that if you kill him, you will not be born and he will survive, would you cancel the whole thing or take the risk of failure?
