Ask a question, answer a question

Postby MissAnthropy » Thu Jul 14, 2011 10:19 pm

So, the format of this game is simple. You answer the question of the person who posted before you and then you ask a question for the person who posts after you to answer. It can be anything, weird, serious, or otherwise.

I'll start:

If you had to wear only one color for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Herr God, Herr Lucifer, beware, beware!
Out of the ash I rise with my red hair
And I eat men like air. ~Sylvia Plathe

I would probably just wear something that doesn't stand out, like black. I don't like standing out in a crowd.

I guess i have to ask a question now?

I always liked puzzles and came accross one recently I had trouble answering. I had to eventually get the answer because I couldn't figure it out. I will pose it as a question. Puzzles are also good for taking your mind off troubles, even if for a few minutes

Here it is: What is unique or unusual about the following paragraph?

"Study this paragraph and all things in it. What is vitally wrong with it? Actually, nothing in it is wrong, but you must admit that it is most unusual. Don't just zip through it quickly, but study it scrupulously. With luck you should spot what is so particular about it and all words found in it. Can you say what it is? "
“Perhaps, as some wit remarked, the best proof that there is Intelligent Life in Outer Space is the fact it hasn't come here. ”

There's no 'E'!

Oh, is it my turn now? Okay, umm...if you were to die and be reincarnated as a plant, what kind of plant would you be?

I would like to get inside my mother's head so I'd become her. I'd like to see what makes her tick. She has no motherly instincts whatsoever. In fact I'd go so far as to say she is evil and possibly a sociopath so that would be an interesting point of view.

If you could go back ten years what would you do differently?

I would have changed my major going into college and worked a lot harder so I could already be finished with grad school. I would also have tried to make more friends and avoid meeting certain people that I now wish I had never met. In short, everything I did or decision I made from the time I was 17 to the time I was 22, I would do exactly the opposite.

If you could have dinner with any three people in the world from any point in history including the present, who would you want to invite?

Princess Diana, Winston Churchill, Bette Davis

Is there anything that frightened you like hell in the past and now you are just relaxed doing it?

Being okay with being fearful.

What does the term "acceptable losses" mean to you?

Losses that are inevitable, such as the death of one's aging teacher, or are for a greater good, such as the death of cells between bones in embryonic development.

What non-human biological characteristic would you like to see bestowed upon the human species?

Either flying or natural camouflage. There have been many situations I'd like to disappear from.

Would you rather lose your sight or your
hearing?
