Feeling nauseous due to anxiety today, been getting waves of anxiety all day and I could do with a break from it :(

Edit: I really think this thread should be a sticky. I agree the SH forum has too many stickies but their 'How do you feel today?' thread is great. It'd be nice to have something like that here, but others may disagree.

Sorry, SH is self-harm. Stickies are the threads at the top of the board which don't move down even if no-one posts on them. It was decided not to make this thread a sticky when it was started because of concerns about having too many stickies (like the SH forum!) which gets confusing. I'm glad you asked because it's made me notice how fluent I'm getting in forum-ese! I'd never posted on a forum at all six months ago.

Thank you! I've only ever been one one other forum, a few years back, and never found what "stickies" meant then! :D

I'm sorry. I hate that when that happens. I hope you are able to get a break today.

I'll petition Salted Lipstick about the sticky idea, I can see how it could be more efficient at the top, then floating amongst the posts each day. I do see how easily that slippery slope of stickies can get as well. Anyway, I'm going to wait for awhile before bringing up as the time is not now, she's feeling a bit under the weather. I'm also worried it's too soon to bring it up again, so in two weeks from today, I pose the suggestion again, it will go under deliberation, then agreement. :D But, I believe the results, whenever the decision may be, will be final word.

I guess this photo about sums it up for us lately. Doing a little better today though :)

Glad your doing better today. I'm not sure if you mean literally or figuratively, as I've had both happen. I'm leaning towards metaphorically...if it's like a mixed message, is there a way to set down the messenger and try to straighten the situation out? Can I give you a ((safe, gentle hug))?

Happened to us both literally and figuratively as well but this time I meant metaphorically.. We also like the alternative interpretation of one bear trying to comfort but the other being so triggered it's not sure if it's a hug or not.. We know how that feels! But yeah, there's been a lot of mixed messages and I think we finally got to talking things through started working things out - hence doing a little better today. Doing even better this evening, actually. Calming down quite a bit :)

((safe, gentle hug)) welcomed and appreciated! Thank you!

I had minor foot surgery yesterday... to remove a hair that had gotten imbedded under the skin of my foot and, surprisingly, was causing us intense, horrible pain. :( Rgh.
