Hi...

Is it really necessary or obligate to write about yourself in the signature? :? If you don't want to, I take it that it's OK? We have some info about ourselves there but not much... Me and my host thought that we could maybe put our numbers in there.

I don't know. I can't decide this obviously. :/ I just wanted to ask.

Freedom is important to those with DID! We do not do well at all with rules. They are painful.

Express yourself - or not! :D

IMHO

I finds the colors and signatures idea helpful and have employed it. Now it's up to them to remember their colors... not too hard for some. Thanks for the good idea!

Yes it's completely ok if you don't want to write anything in your signature. :D Having freedom of expression is really important here, so I think if you don't feel like writing anything then you shouldn't. Everyone should feel comfortable to not have a signature too if that is what they prefer. :D I think your signature is clear enough already and you write pretty often so probably people are used to you by now so probably no need to worry.

OK, thanks SL! Do you mind if I call you SL (as in Salted lipstick)? :D

Hi from me too!

I feel kinda odd when you said that people are starting to get used to me/us writing in here. :D I've never been part of any group over the internet, or in real life. We've always been outsiders and have examined people afar rather than getting closer. :)

I'll prolly add the number of my parts in the signature though I'd have to keep updating it pretty often since the number increases every week! Oh well.

That's totally fine. :D I think it's kinda cool that people here have their own little thing to call me. :D Sometimes I get called Lipstick too, which is cool.

Well you are definitely a valued member of the group here now and it's always nice to hear from you. :D I can relate, I hadn't been part of a group really before here either. It had always been that outsider thing for me too. But now you, me, us and everyone here is part of the group here. And it's awesome to have you here. I love everyone on this forum. Y'all are like my internet family. :D

That's very kind, Ms. Lipstick (Mizz Lipstick, Jack just assumed that's how we should address you!)

It's an especially nice sentiment because having read so many of your posts here, we know that it's completely genuine.

Your request makes perfect sense, however I was surprised at how difficult to find something that all of me could feel comfortable enough with. You would think that it wouldn't be any problem to put less detail in a signature than I am OK with writing about in a post, but it actually brings up a lot that I will need to ponder on.

I added one. Had a freakout a day later about it. I am leaving it up for now, but am trying to figure out who is uncomfortable with the information I provided. It is inclusive, but fairly vague. I may have to take it down. I'm not around much, though, anyway...I get so super triggered lately. Ahh well. We shall see.
