Hi. My name is 17, and i wanted to share some different techniques with art that i have discovered. I like them cause we can afford them, an its unique, i think. Also littles could do the last one i will mention as well if they want. Make sure you lay down something under where they are working though.
I saw on Youtube where someone was doing painting by blowing it out of a straw. I don't have any paint, or straws. So i took the inside of a couple of pens apart, with different color ink. And ya know the plastic that holds the ink? Well i blew through there. It can be hard to blow it out sometimes. So if i couldn't blow it out, i took a paperclip and un bent it, and stuck it in to the plastic, to get ink on it. Then i spread that on the paper. When i could get it blown out, i would also spread that around with the paperclip. You could also use a tooth pick, but we don't have any. I like the look of it. It reminds me of the style Pollack did, kinda
The other way. Because we are out of our oil pastels. I got a piece of art paper and spread some Sa-son Culantro y Achiote spice on it. We don't use it anymore cause we discovered it has food coloring in it. But it is perfect for some base work, and then you can do whatever over the top of it. I just move it around with my fingers. The spice tumeric, also has food coloring in it. Or for that matter, if we had any glue,I could spread some glue around and sprinkle some different spices around, on top, into a design.
If you have any inexpensive ideas please share.

Helo Alln1 =D

This seems interesting, and fun. I don't have any skills at art, I can't even draw or paint a box :|
But you seem good at it, you really seem to enjoy it.
But I can't get an idea of how it would look like, if you can take a picture of it, one day, and post it here, it would be great :D
I really want to see how that owuld look like

Best wishes,
~ Secret ~

Hi Secret
I'm not at all good at it! But i do enjoy it, cause i don't like to think about things, and i can get lost in the art. I like my art, but that is so very subjective isn't it? Also it is just for me.
If i knew how to do what you requested i would. But i don't. i don't know about that kind of thing. But you can even get a picture on, ur post. We have liked that every since we first saw it, and wrote down the meaning you have printed for it.
You don't have to be good at anything to do it. If you enjoy it, do it. Plus you could post it, cause i bet, you know how to do things like that.

I don't know how old you are, but you're pretty clever and creative. I enjoyed reading that but some of my littles started thinking about doing something similar and even messier stuff and I got a bit nervous. But nobody lives in our house except us right now so we could probably get pretty messy and not worry about it.

Johnny-Jack
Well if you share with me what your littles like to do. Maybe we could set a day and time and play the same thing, if your littles would like that? I'm not a little. But we have a little named 3. She says she is 3, but we all know she is older than that. But we say, "if you want to b 3, than b 3." I'm 17, hense my name. But we are the only two that have numbers for names.
It sounds like you are a really good daddy to your littles. Unless you are not a man really, and then you are a good mother. I don't want to assume anything. You know why? It spells out ass u me. But Una wrote she was talking to John. So i do think you are a man. Plus your name, i just saw at the bottom of your post is John. Mystery solved

We like pastels and crayons. :D We get them cheaply and love to draw.

Around Christmas we got a bag of cheap gold ornaments and glitter glue and played with that. We always go through the cheap bins at all the shops in hopes of finding things we can use with which to create from fabric to glitters to clay. We save a lot of things too. We saved a bunch of cardboard stock that was extra from work and used that to make silly badges for everyone.

Depending on the time of year, you can also gather things from outside and use those. We've gathered pinecones to make bunnies and slathered mud onto artwork. Cherry blossoms are in bloom right now, so if the weather dries out then we might gather some of those and glue them onto things or dry them out for later use.
We're not invited.

This post made me smile because I was just having this conversation not long ago with a friend of mine. About the fact that our alters can do things we cant and vice versa. One of my alts can paint beautiful pictures but im lucky to be able to draw stick people lol. She also can figure out most computer programs in a snap and is only about 7 or 8 years old.
