I've used this name on the internet for awhile.
My buddies used to call me Spartan as a call-sign. I love Greek history so I suppose that had something to do with it.
Dx: Depression, Bipolar II
SO to a wonderful woman with DID.
To my sweetie: If you could see yourself the way I do you'd fall more in love with yourself everyday.

I chose The Cat's Meow because that is how my therapist often refers to me when she wants to remind me that she sees me as a remarkable person. It reminds me to reach out towards the qualities that make her see me that way, even when I feel fragile, frightened, and overwhelmed.
And thank you for reviving this post!

Hello everyone !
I originally chose lifepuzzle because I wondered what was wrong with me, and saw it as a puzzle to resolve in life. However, with DID, the new meaning is that my life is a puzzle to assemble correctly. It also means there are several "pieces" to my existence.
Hope that's clear enough !

I have an unhealthy obsession with Helen Keller, thus the Keller, and my mothers maiden name is white, just something that i thought fit well, and i constantly use white as my last name.

What a fun subject, I enjoyed reading through the posts.
Sotrsab is an acronym for 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow Skies Are Blue..." It gives me hope & helps me to keep focussed on my dream - on getting there (which, of course, is healing).

There is a band called Alice in chains...one of their lyrics is " snuff the rooster".... my train of thought was this: roosters crow and make the sun rise (not really but you understand) if we "snuffed" out all of the roosters, the sun wouldn't rise and I could sleep forever!

We're not by any means new here; we were around back when good ol' Bates was running this place but our name was chosen by Cate our host from the song "I never cry" by Alice cooper. The lyric is... I may be lonely but I'm never alone, which at the time summed up Cate pretty well as she never went anywhere or met anyone and spent most of her time by herself but thanks to all of us living in her head, she was never alone.

Thanks Borg. If you're as good as Bates was we'll get along just fine. We left this forum a while ago because we encountered and exposed a couple of rancid fakes and we lost faith with this place. We've come back now, totally stable and functional hoping this place has changed and that we can help other become like us.
