Aww split psi psi I care! I would hate to have a sticky keyboard! Not to mention I'm sure it's hard to clean, I don't even know how you would do that

I let it soak inwater and i let it airdry with a hairdryer. In the mean time, I just pick up ome of the fifty keyboards laying around the house

OK so I'm pretty new and many of you will not have seen me yet but I thought this was such a cool thread that I'd put my two cents in ^^

When I very first went into an online forum I was in a state where everything seemed so dark and scary and that nothing would ever work out, and that no one was ever going to figure out what was wrong with me. I was using random names but never really liked any of them. I finally found someone who believed that I needed help and they were amazing for me, like my own personal guardian angel. It was around that time that I became aware of Raiyne, she's like a part human part dragon that keeps an eye on me. I didn't know what that meant then, I don't really know now, but she was like another guardian angel to help me through the hard times.

After a lot of thinking I realised that I wanted to try and help others the way they tried to help me, but I knew that I was still in a dark place myself, hence 'Darkened Angel'.

I love all your names, some of them are really unique.

I think when I was trying to choose a username, I had some help. I had just found out about my DiD and didn't want anyone to know about it. I remember thinking of trying to integrate my Protector's name into my username as a sign of respect since she had helped me for so long. For some reason I couldn't think of one and SheWhoMustNotBeNamed came to me.

After I posted my first message, I found out that my Protector didn't want her name listed anywhere on the forum. I had to go back and change my signature so that her name was removed.

As it turns out, it was Lyn, my Protector, who chose the name, not me. She has since then given me permission to post her name.

I picked Gael for several reasons. My family's ancestry is primarily Irish and Scottish -- 'Gaelic' people. I was going to use 'Gale' (a very strong wind) until I thought of including my family's 'past' in the name.

I love the literary references to nightingale's, starting when I took English in college a 2 years ago. Their song is thought of as very sad, as a lament, which is a large part of why I chose it for these forums.

Basically it's a combination of several things that really spoke to me. The more I looked into the connections to Gael, gale, nightingale, the more it seemed perfect.

Pandora, because in mythology Pandora opened a box and couldn't contain what happened next. I feel as if that is how DID is, a box that shouldn't have been pried open, but once it is, it's hard to put the pieces back together.
