"blended" is when two different alters temporarily mix together. They keep their own sense of identity. If they want to share a ressource, emotion, or anything really, they need to make an effort to do it. The sharing is temporary.
"integration" is when:
- a ressource or memory or ability is shared permanently
- a trauma is healed permanently
When two alters are "integrated together" it means everything inside of them is shared both ways permanently and all or at least most of their trauma is healed. Their identities remain separate.
"fusion" is when two alters are blended, mixed, permanently in their identity, their ressources, etc. For the fusion to be permanent, the integration needs to be complete first. If the integration is not complete, the fusion can become undone.
For me, "Morwan" is in-between integration and fusion: I need to gather myself every morning but I stay stable throughout the day effortlessly in my identity.
Thanks ..Sioux joined me last night. we are now one..just 'Jay'. Memories and skills are shared but neither of us were trauma holders as such so there aren't really any 'trauma's for either of us to heal. I guess 2 non-trauma holders that were more similar would have an easier time of Integrating or fusing anyway than one's very different or one's holding Trauma? ..we'll see how it goes.. if we easily last until the next blood test with no problems there's maybe a chance it would work permanently?
Yuna & Juno didn't want to. They wish to return to the inner world and live their lives out as 15yr old twins on the the inside. They seem to think they would not be able to age-slide or disappear into the inner world freely if they were permanently Integrated or fused with me up front.. I don't know enough about either to know the answer!
LS also feels she still needs to be 6 and I think is also worried that being fused within me at front would mean she wouldn't be able to age-slide or separate to play with others on the inside ..again I don't know if she would if we Integrated but didn't fuse, but at this stage she's probably too young and it would be better waiting until everyone felt more stable individually before we even thought about trying to integrate the littles.
