I was under the impression there is no authentic self in DID? Maybe she means host but what if you're always co con? Then to you have a host per se? Also I've been doing some journaling and have noticed my thought insertions are relevant to my other thoughts about 13/ of the time the rest are nonsensical. So is that weird?

Some people use the term "authentic self" to mean who you would have been without the trauma--or who you will be in the future--it's not an alter. There is no alter who is the authentic self--that wouldn't make sense.
My T has mentioned "finding your authentic self" in the past, and I had to ask him about it, because that term really bothered us. He doesn't use it anymore, but I think it's who you are when you repair the relational trauma, and you've processed the other trauma. That's my best guess anyway, but you should probably ask your T what she meant by it.

Thanks, Gang. She said she is just thinking for herself but thinks it would be backed up by others. That we all have a authentic self. Who we are. We just have alters that are different aspects of ourselves that we created because of trauma. Idk if that's true.

Questions and weird happening if last night.
So do you guys have facial expressions, mouth moving but nothing coming out or hand gestures when confronting with someone else that may be noticeable to other people?
Last night I had a thought to put a lighter near the open flame of the gas stove. I know that's not wise. I got this feeling of anxiety in my chest. Someone said " You know not to do that!" It didn't feel like me telling myself that but a alter that was genuinely concerned. I explained to everyone why that wasn't a good idea and reassured whoever was concerned that no one was going to do that.

I am pleased to announce I am officially off anti psychotics. Takes 100 to 300 days to get out of my system though.
