is anyone still around? need communication advice

Postby krazykatlady93 » Tue Jun 11, 2019 1:51 am

hey,
like i said, i need communication advice. NOT JOURNALING. nobody responds to it for me. i have 2 very young parts, 3 & 4 that i have NO idea how to communicate with. ive tried drawing and talking to them and buying toys for them.

i have very very little communication with my parts (i have 11 that i know of). what communication i do have doesnt make sense. its just random things, not answers to my questions or comments. like, one thing said was "cold in that snow" when its summer time. i did not mention snow. that was all that was said.

and my biggest issue.. i believe someone is actively trying to block communication bc every time i try, i get loud music playing instead so even if someones talking i cant hear it

please help

"cold in that snow"

It could mean they want it explained, what they saw read ectera. "I want a cold bear" "Play the movie with winter in the title" "Snow in the winter" "Go into a store and prepare for winter" "Do the opposite of the seasons" This is how to increase communication among parts. Write a poem or music. Organize a closet declutter teach a book to the youngs. It could mean they are in discovery in the inner world at school

little bees vote for cartoons and play dough and coloring books and bubble gum and bubbles and make pancakes

just be friends first. littles don't always feel safe to talk. we like to watch and make sure is safe.

ok, bye!!

I agree with birdsong about talking to the one playing the music first. Likely a protector.

Thinking/verbalizing that it is okay to play is another thought. Lou wasn't allowed to ask for things or to have her own things. I had to guess at things she might want then let her "borrow" them. She worried about using up the crayons and I told her I would get more for her to borrow if she did use them up. :D

With that said though, 4 y/o Lou was one of the first insiders I met. Even a year and a half in, there is very little communication with SF. Lou can have a lot of control of the body while SF is out to the point of SF is playing a game on her phone with one hand and the other hand is making a gummy bear dance with SF completely oblivious to it. Conversations and requests are still mostly relayed through AJ to SF.

Now, with that said, Lou appreciates it when SF does things she likes like watching cartoons or eating gummy bears even if she doesn't say anything.

It's possible they appreciate the toys very much, but haven't said anything and you might not know they've played with them at all. :)
