Just wanted to say hi. We used to be on here but took a break. Then couldn't remember the password and none of the email addresses I know of worked to recover the password...

Delilah - F, doesnt really identify as an age, just...adult

And most recently Little Wolf. Not much is known about her, just that she's young and mostly keeps to herself.

I've got a Kaitie-Lynn (that's her first name), who goes by "Kitten". She's something of a "twin sister" to Pixie (also her first name), and when they told me when they were little Pixie thought calling Kaitie-Lynn "Kitten" was faster and cuter, and it just stuck.

That's really cute. The first picture our husband saw of Kitten, she was wearing a pink wig and kitten ears (they met in a FB group). So when they got to talking, after a short while he told her thate was going to call her Kitten. It just stuck and now that's how we all think of her. It's weird at school or work to hear us being called by her birth name. Maybe that's because it wasn't until after we met him that myself and the other parts started making ourselves known, so he was already calling her Kitten by then. it's gotten to the point where we agree that all of the above names are our individual names, and the name the world knows her by is our "collective" name. None of us identify with it (not even kitten anymore), so it's the "all of us name." Does that make sense? Oh, and Lynn is our middle name. Funny, that we all identify with the middle name as our own middle name...except Delilah, she's just... Delilah. LOL

Our husband actually named all of us. Is that strange? I see posts about how when parts start showing up they have already given themselves names. Lilly was always just 'the little one." I just didn't care enough to have a name. Delilah, when asked by our husband "Who are you?" simply said, "I am she who does what needs doing."

Some of my wife's insiders had names already. Others did not. Some went by descriptions like "manager". Some went by names that were negative. Some didn't have names but most of them wanted one.

I helped several choose names by providing options. Several times I assigned "code names" so my wife's T and I could find them again until they picked a new one they liked. Only two asked to be "assigned" names. Even then I provided a couple choices and let them know they are free to pick a new one later if they choose.

I know there is debate about providing names, but for us, it has really helped provide a more positive mental attitude for individual insiders and the overall system.

Thanks for that. Our husband used to call me "the brat." Then one day I went off on him. Lol. Turns out he meant it as a term of endearment, but when he realized it was hurting me asked me what name I wanted. I said "I don't care, it doesn't f**king matter."
Lol. The next time I came out he told me he figured out the perfect name for me. I was like "whatever." But loved it. To me, it meant he really DID care about me.

Why is there a debate about providing names?
