I'm finding out that when I get overwhelmed or worried i push the alters down that are dealing with whatever is making my anxious and in a since I get it but have no other way of either calming them down, pushing the thought out of my head or pushing the" threat" away....
My overall functioning decrease by pushing down these alts and it has been a struggle.
I'm feeling alright but I smoked a lot of weed for the first time in a few weeks and I'm all screwed up lol I'm inside and Outside at the same time. Its a total mess,i hate it. But overall I'm hangin in there and doing mostly somewhat well.

that's good news! you are making progress over time and that's what happens.
recovery is like that. 2 steps forward, 1 step back. and other variations on that theme.

Its that 1 step back that I hate.lol I made some serious progress and then went back a bit. But we're hanging in there as best we can do I guess thats all that matters.
And thank you! Sometimes I dont understand this whole recovery thing. What a long road!
