I have taken this to my therapist. But just wanted to see that anyone has been through this.

I think what Una+ is trying to say is that we generally don't discuss specifics of trauma here on this site but try to remain *very* general. Also it's common to put trigger warnings around posts such as this where you get more specific with an abuse setting. Please take some time to read the stickie post at the top about things you need to know about this forum. By following some established guidelines I think you'll find a warmer welcome. You could also start an introduction thread telling us a bit about you in present day if you'd like. You could also read other threads here and engage that way.

Trigger Warning - General Circumstances of Abuse

We don't think it's a problem to ask if anyone was abused in daycare, as long as it's clear that the discussion will not involve specifics. The person could say, "I was abused in daycare. Without going into specifics, can anybody relate to how I feel?"

To us, it's in the same category as mentioning having been abused in an RA setting, in a religious setting, or by a friend of the family. As long as there are no details.

For me the issue is this is a new poster whose idea of an introduction is to ask where to find a "safe" chat room and to invite others to relate their abuse histories. I'm not buying it.

Okay, that's a separate issue, and on that we agree. Beyond that, our original opinion stands.

Trigger Warning to the poster

Some of our knowledge, some induction don't have to be traumatic though some of us are well versed but choose a scaled down version here at the forums. So if anyone is over whelmed and what to share more that most certainly are welcomed to. I'd just say there are plenty of more ways to mess over a multiple see terms such as Quasi Role Playing. We all have to live together in society so if oone knows about the other then that is fine now preference for one over the other than. We are accept all switches within the rules of friends at Psych forum. If you google Psych forum it is one of most popular mental health sites around. I'd say you can't engage with most folks won't understand mass mind control or can ignore that is wonderful to know as well.

Switch -dominated MPD....Most commonly seen in the patient with a large number of alters. The switching process is so rapid and frequent that the patient appears bewildered and forgetful. Patient are often misadiagnosed with affective disorder psychosis and organic mental syndrome or seizure disorder

On a more personal level you all knowledge shouldnt be confining to any issue....

Be glad that we engage with the poster so you don't feel along just don't hap hazardly give anyone knowledge into your system run like the wind if they quasi it because you going to need alot of posters to help you and movies to know what is happening with the reality and illusions....When I was on the run there was many of days I wanted to assume things instead of just strenghing those switches .....They were exact clones imposters but turned out to say no i don't know anyone you use to....Now I just use this method for keep my system open being so large
