interesting. My suicidal teen alter is Av, short for Avalanche. ....Snow......
They themselves are not dangerous but they can do dangerous things. It helps to not conflate the two. I have allowed Av to embrace the feelings of suicide and hopelessness with the agreement that feelings don't always need to lead to action. Much like you can be super angry at someone, and feel it and express it, but you don't need to actually punch them in the face, even though it is all you can think about. Separate feelings from acting on the feelings. It is a safe way for us to deal with this but if you don't think it would be safe for you, tread carefully.
Colin and Iain - i find this slightly amusing only because you both are SOOO mature I never see you as teens. But maybe that is part of the problem - are you too parentified? That is what T says about Lizzy. You need to be you, and I see you standing up for yourself on this. you like teen stuff. good on you!
We have Lizzy - 12 , I put her here because she is in-between, very mature, but still a little, Av - 15ish suicidal, dark, creative, artistic, Sara 17 - (who is completely pissed she was left off of the list and the pDoc)- what's the saying - rose-coloured glasses - that is her world, she is rarely around,
I feel there is another teen(s) and johnny-jack's comment about teens exploding onto the scene was stuck like a post it note on my forehead. Someone wanted me to notice that. A lot went on in my teens too so ....who knows.....
I think K and Kit are early twenties but T refers to them as teenagers which drives them crazy!
