we have a few and they are all dangerous because they come from at time of pretty horrible abuse and so are all suicidal. Snow especially, who has been out a good deal lately.

We have teens. Alex and Sean who are practically inseparable but have had quite a bit of upset recently. They also smoke occasionally which I hate. We also have Abi who we hasn't been about for quite a while and Morgan who age slides.

Hi,

There are a lot of teen alters out there. That's really neat!

You know sometimes Host says we're pretty important to the system. We add important stuff and we're a pretty good backup when things go wrong and he can't front. He's also reading this thread and realizes how much boring stuff he makes us sit through - like meetings with boring people  I think he's also figuring out that we're not trying to mess up. We're just not adults so we get super embarrassed or just clueless about stuff. And we've got A LOT more feelings than he does so it's hard on us when things aren't fair or somebody's acting stupid or mean. And we like to eat more pizza than he does.

Iain
Iain - 14, Colin - 17, Evan - 7, Cody - 16, & Host - the adult out front

When they say 'be yourself',
which one do they mean?

interesting. My suicidal teen alter is Av, short for Avalanche. ....Snow......

They themselves are not dangerous but they can do dangerous things. It helps to not conflate the two. I have allowed Av to embrace the feelings of suicide and hopelessness with the agreement that feelings don't always need to lead to action. Much like you can be super angry at someone, and feel it and express it, but you don't need to actually punch them in the face, even though it is all you can think about. Separate feelings from acting on the feelings. It is a safe way for us to deal with this but if you don't think it would be safe for you, tread carefully.

Colin and Iain - i find this slightly amusing only because you both are SOOO mature I never see you as teens. But maybe that is part of the problem - are you too parentified? That is what T says about Lizzy. You need to be you, and I see you standing up for yourself on this. you like teen stuff. good on you!

We have Lizzy - 12 , I put her here because she is in-between, very mature, but still a little, Av - 15ish suicidal, dark, creative, artistic, Sara 17 - (who is completely pissed she was left off of the list and the pDoc)- what's the saying - rose-coloured glasses - that is her world, she is rarely around,

I feel there is another teen(s) and johnny-jack's comment about teens exploding onto the scene was stuck like a post it note on my forehead. Someone wanted me to notice that. A lot went on in my teens too so ....who knows.....

I think K and Kit are early twenties but T refers to them as teenagers which drives them crazy!

I am almost 18, that is legally adult, and drinking age, where we live. when the T thinks I do the young teenie stuff I just roll my eyes. I think the protector role often gets in the way with that. I pay a lot more attention to risks than other teens would.
but it is nice to have time on the weekends for teen projects.
the other weekend it was pizza time. we made pizza for every single meal so HannaH could try what toppings she liked the best.
and gaming. there is never enough time for gaming.

Hello Everyone
there is a mix of little, teens and adults in our system mostly littles and teens though with what happened to GrayWolf growing up she finds it hard to trust a lot of adults she even finds it hard to see herself as an adult even though she is one
I am the only one that has aged over the years I'm Johnny I'm 34 I came when GrayWolf was 5 years old to help her I am as older than her but not by much and as she got older I got older for that's how it has been since that day she has been through a lot
our T(therapist) calls me the gate keeper/main protector with how I have been around the longest and also with how I'm the one that is usually first to respond when GrayWolf needs help the others help as well its just with somethings I know what is best
Have a nice day/night
Johnny
I live with PTSD, DID, OCD, Bi Polar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Sever Chronic Depression, Insomnia and Anorexia I have my good days and my bad days with everything and I love how my husband is very supportive, kind, helpful, understanding and above all else he is very loving

For some reason, whenever we get stressed, we get a craving to smoke and/or drink. I don't know why or from whom, since Viola doesn't drink or smoke and, as far as I know, neither does anyone else. They better not. We're in bad enough shape without having to deal with nicotine addiction or alcoholism.
I have ADHD. Possibly have another mental disorder but am not certain.

I'm a teen in our system, even though I'm 12 I am called "The Teenager". I'm actually having a lot of trouble in therapy at the moment. I get really angry at the therapist because she doesn't understand, but also just when she asks questions. She just doesn't understand that I only want to do therapy on MY terms! But then she doesn't pick up on the things I'm trying to tell her. It's really scary and frustrating at the same time.

It feels like therapists just don't know how to deal with me! They only say things like "I can see this is difficult for you," or "you're very angry". I just want them to be THERE, like an Actual Person - not like a distanced observer. I strongly feel like they can't help me and I hate them for it.

And yes, I also want to do all of the "bad" things. Like drinking, doing drugs, or SH. I don't give in because I know the others will be very angry with me if I do, but it can be VERY tempting!

There are 14 teens in our system.

Allegra (17) manages our outside life. Cass (17) manages our innerworld.

The Babysitters look after the children. The Babysitters include shawn (16/f), rose (15), jayne-ann (14), Val (14), Frieda (13.5-14), and Aurora13. Allegra and Cass can pitch in when needed.

Laura (17.5) is our most vocal protector. Aurora17 protects the perimeter of our innerworld and lives in an isolated cabin in the woods. We also have a trio of "black leather jacket" types: Big Joe (16), who oversees protection of our innerworld and does the heavy lifting. :) Reckless (16) and Twelve (12), both girls, pitch in where needed.

Nia (16.5) doesn't fit into any of the above categories but instead lives by herself in an isolated wooded setting, at the diagonally opposite corner of the property from Aurora17. Despite this, Aurora17 looks in on Nia and helps her as needed. Nia dresses in a light-blue caftan and headcovering in the style of women in the Biblical era, though she is a Pagan. She communicates empathically and spiritually rather than verbally.

MDs
Body cis ♀ (1962). Realized 1996 that we're multiple. System of 47, all cis: 42 ♀, 5 ♂; 17 littles (0-7+), 9 middles (8-11+), 14 teens (12-17+), 5 bigs (18+), + formless yin/yang.

Notable: Charity 25 (oldest), Deborah 23, Drew 23f, Mary 23, Rachel 23, Laura 17.5, Allegra 17, Cass 17, shawn 16f.
