Lucy and Ethel. Abbott and Costello. Frick and Frack, whoever the hell they are. Allegra says she's staying a teen, but that doesn't feel reassuring to me.

Oh! You don't want her growing up. And since she's mature, then you fear she might grow up.
Well, that's a fair fear. I mean it's valid.
Maybe aging has a bad connotation for you.
You know? I had some... issues with certain items that I associated with being "old"; and I didn't want them. That for me meant being boring, forgetting what was important in life, giving in to the system, forgetting dreams, losing contact with the inner child, losing the sense of adventure.
However, as I grow, and as I see other type of adults, I see that staying young is actually and attitude in life. That an adult can choose not to be boring, that can stay in touch with what's important in life, that can still stand for their believes, than can make their dreams come true, stay in touch with thir inner child, keep their sense of adventure.
So, when I saw that. I was able to let go of the meaning the object had for me, and assign a new cool meaning. My own meaning.
What does aging mean for you?
