The new system in town!

Greetings, this is an introduction post. I will first introduce our system, then myself, and then the other members of our system. Note that I will be describing roles during our introduction, but only in relation to our own system. I (and assumedly the rest of our system) respect that your system may function differently to ours, and that does not make it any less valid or effective.

We are the Hundred Acre System. We are named such after the Hundred Acre Woods from Winnie the Pooh, as our original enjoyed that cartoon very much as a child, as do many of us now. As well as that, we like to think of the characters from Winnie the Pooh as a system not unlike ourselves, with the Hundred Acre Woods being their inner world, and Christopher Robin as the original/host. And thus, we are named as such.

As for me, my name is Arwyn. I am 27 years old (approximately 46 in this world, although I do not regard myself quite so similar to a 46 year old human. Somewhere between those two numbers may describe me best) and an elf. My role in our system is to be calm and rational.

Following shortly is a list of the (known) members of our system.
List items will have the following structure:

These types of dot points denote the following about each alter:

✥ Vosane - Undetermined age (behaves as a late teenager would), he/him/his, elf, unknown

My my, that is a lot of alters! However as the blue dot points note, we are not sure if each of them is actually an alter. Vosane may be an aspect of Daniel, but we are yet to know for sure until we meet him. The gods of our inner world may be features of it instead of altars, and it is possible that Thobon and Hokshiiwa are not actually part of the pantheon. Our only evidence of having a gatekeeper altar is that Selene was unable to enter the headspace for several days until earlier today, but this issue has (quite apparently) been solved after she prayed to our gods. Thank god! .

As much as I would like to ramble on and on about topics such as how we came to discover that we have DID, what our inner world is like, the workings of our memories and much more, I would not want to overload anyone with information about us. . Please feel free to talk to us and ask us in regards to whatever you're curious about, we are excited to meet other systems! Although if you are to talk about Christopher Robin, please use the pronouns she/her in reference to her (the original and Selene both see Christopher Robin as a transgender girl, and this is very important to them). wow... welcome back us! none of us have been here for... about four years I think, I've been thinking back to these forums lately and decided to start posting here again because I remember this being such a strong and caring community, which I've been feeling myself needing lately. I reckon others in my system would benefit a lot from posing here again too!
I was considering making a new thread to reintroduce us, but then I remembered we had our first introduction thread around somewhere, I may as well use that ^^ and this is it! it's amazing how things have changed since then! like I'm seeing a glimpse of a time when our system was entirely foreign knowledge to all of us, and we were so desperate to figure it all out. I'm happy to say that we've done a lot of figuring-it-out over the past few years. we don't have it all figured out and likely never will because that's just how life is, but there's many less unknowns for us now
the OP of this post turns out not to be too accurate to our system, so please take it with a grain of salt ^^; what we know now is there's 14 of us and there doesn't seem to be any more we don't know about. we had a few alters who split off from me and then integrated back into me soon after, those being Rosemary, Tyler and Hannah (if anyone actually remembers somehow remembers!). Ive put names and stuff for those of us I think are likely to post here in our signature, we'll see how we go with that
also a side note, it's been so long that I had to dig through my emails for our username! I'd forgotten we ever called ourselves that actually, for a while we've been just... us. but being reminded of that name made me feel warm inside so maybe we'll start using it more actively again!

Our 'original self' grew up on Winne the Pooh too and loved them. Eeyore was their favourite!

We also have one that likes to see Link (from the Zelda video game series) as a non-binary individual. So was particularly excited by the fact that in the game 'Breath of the wild' you could dye Link's clothes and therefore dress the character in many different styles.

Our child alter Bobby (10) also likes to dress in a way that makes it difficult to determine whether they are a male or female child. The original liked to do this as a child too back in an age when dressing appropriately like a boy or girl was the rule. 'She' (the body is female) was classed as a 'tomboy' back then but prefers to see themselves as non-binary. Though everyone accepts the female pronoun as the body is female and the original was always encouraged to hide their 'secret world' and never tell anyone. (The parents feared the original had 'mental illness' in an age when the mentally ill were locked up in hospitals for life usually). They were later diagnosed as autistic, we only learned what DID was in the body's late forties.

Because we always had to hide only one social front was ever out at once and for many years to evade suspicion (of mental illness so we didn't get locked up) and appear to 'fit in' with societies view of 'normal'. So we appear to be a smaller system with only 6 of us so far that are known about or have ever come forwards. The child alters may be emotional parts we are not sure.
