Poly and mono doesn't work, its a parrot and a disease.

smooth and faceted is pretty, but does not roll off the tongue
Was talking to my wife about it as mono theistic vs Hinduism where there is only one God but with many faces. Like a faceted gem stone. Even though we feel individual. Though like the god idea we have our areas of effectiveness.

Indie and coop?

Solo sounds heroic, so that's not bad. And Multi seems to not bother people.
Went to bed really late last night was all alone for a while. Was nice for a bit but would not want to feel that all the time.

Is this why they need facebook, et al?

*TW/ religious talk (buddhism), dirtyish words*

I've sometimes wondered that is the human thinking non-linear/chaotic by nature or is that just a feature of dissociated minds? At least the buddhist tradition talks about the babble or the dialogue of the mind which refers that the human mind is considered to be a multiplicity of sorts. My husband says he has a very linear thought process, yet he recognizes the influence of the unconscious mind etc.

Here is an example of how my thought runs quite typically:
"You have redefine reality. Ass, ass, ass. I waant candy! Besides, the timing is bad. What timing?! Hahahahahah! What was I saying?"

I'd consider this kind of thinking to be somewhat "abnormal", since it usually contributes to my feelings of alienation, depersonalisation etc.

Saw the report on the accident in Vegas, the police officer reported how many individuals were killed or hurt.
Maybe one day they will report a multiple with x individuals, n entities, and y forms as well as the others. Do we not bleed, laugh, and cry just like they do?

If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh?

When they say 'be yourself',
which one do they mean?

Yeah, but so much of what's written in the news about multiples is BS, so we don't see it happening, and it's probably better that way.

Laura and others
Body cis ♀ (1962). Realized 1996 that we're multiple. System of 47, all cis: 42 ♀, 5 ♂; 17 littles (0-7+), 9 middles (8-11+), 14 teens (12-17+), 5 bigs (18+), + formless yin/yang.

Notable: Charity 25 (oldest), Deborah 23, Drew 23f, Mary 23, Rachel 23, Laura 17.5, Allegra 17, Cass 17, shawn 16f.

They only ever see the one body bleed, that's all. If they could ever see all that we are… the damage and the beauty and the dancing and the pain… it would light up the news for days.

I love that
I have come to like

Plurals and Solos

Solo sounds heroic; they are alone, and Multi sounds like packaging at Costco. Plural is what you use in grammar for a number of people over 1.

There was something else too, but can't remember, stupid dementia.
