so, Im treated as followed:
host is the best
the other alters are to be ignored
and I ll be cured.
A bunch of nonsense that made situation grow worse and makes it hard to deal with everythin.
For those who followed, it included a meltdown and a reboot;
Now my family INSISTS on speakin with the professionals.
I told them they are NOT informed, I am, an d if so many are worried, why don t they ask me?
It s clear; THe y see me a s a clear lunatic.
I can t let them talk to people who know less then I do.
Ignoration is the most common thing used ever I was born.
I don t need an extra portion of that.
Sometimes I m so fed up of explainin myself all the time!

Wow. I'm really sorry.
This was how were treated at therapy. What you said at the beginning was called "integration", and my parents treated me like I was crazy and probably still think I am.
I don't have anything else to say. I'm sorry. I feel your pain too.
Sending warm wishes,
Faith (Did Indie get her dress?)

As for the professionals, ... I m used to the misunderstandin
I just dont want my family to join in. There is no understandin as it it, and I don t need them to aggrevate the situation.
I pretend to be host whenever whatever.
I mean, my sister saw me with teary eyes and just talked about her job and then popped the question a bout seein the staff. YEa right. Not even a check up on why you re teary but I m supposed to believe she wants to be involved? Bollocks.

Yes. This is the "treatment" that gives "integration" a bad name. It has nothing to do with integration, it is merely suppression and denial and avoidance, and it is certainly not the recommended treatment. ISSTD guidelines for recommended treatment define integration as follows:
Integration is a broad, longitudinal process referring to all work on dissociated mental processes throughout treatment. R. P. Kluft (1993a) defined integration as an
ongoing process of undoing all aspects of dissociative dividedness that begins long before there is any reduction in the number or distinctness of the identities, persists through their fusion, and continues at a deeper level even after the identities have blended into one. It denotes an ongoing process in the tradition of psychoanalytic perspectives on structural change. (p. 109)

You have the right to refuse have your family speaking to the hospital staff. Tell the hospital staff you are not ready for the family to know anything about your situation at the hospital, period. I mean, patient doctor confidentiality applies to the psych ward too, or am I crazy?
Tell them you are not ready, and you do not know when you are going to be.
If they breach your confidence like your friends did, then... It's terrible, terrible, but make them aware of what ice storm it will cause to you, what har.
Tell everyone how badly you need REST. Nourishment. Good things.
I wish an ocean of good things happening to you, finally.

I'm so sorry.
We know (some of) how you feel. We wrote about some of our experiences with being in-patient here:
