Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the version from 2008.

And the Bourne Trilogy :) quite recognisable (how do you write that word?) with all the memory loss stuff.

"Source Code"

"An action thriller centered on a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train."

With Jake Gyllenhaal who our entire system would marry instantly (even the boys). Not for littles tho.

Also, Sucker Punch

Just don't watch "Me, Myself and Irene", its racist, sexist shite.
It shows an excessive tenderness for the world to remove contradiction from it and then to transfer the contradiction to reason, where it is allowed to remain unresolved.

agree with Source Code

Sucker Punch- degustibus non disputandum est ;) I have to watch it again if I find time, because I have o clue why it's 'good'.But I see how the girls she saw on the way (I try not to be spoilin' stuff) became her dissociated personalities. I like the idea of this movie being DID related.

Me,Myself and Irene
- if anyone finds that flick sexist stupid or racist misses the point of the movie, like trying to get to Bombay and ending up in the tundra. Seriously. It should be given a try, second chance, simply because it's also one of those movies you think you'll be going trough smoking yr bong and eating snickers and chips and yet you end up saying midway to yr buddy 'Ayo, that is a good movie actually. I thought it's not my lane but damn, blood, I fuqsk with this $#%^.' and you put your snickers away and laugh and be like , continuously, 'that is damn clever son, oh man. Get that "Piano Player" a punch in the back we gon watch it long after we devoured and delighted on this that here'.

I would add 'Donie Darko' with hesitation- he exists o multiple planes, or levels, and is this damn Frank, as well, so you know. Could be seen as DID. The moments when he is under hypnosis, another guy seems to come out, one hidden a bit- either from the viewer or from Donnie himself.

I will try to remember some other movies.

More like a short film, but I like it. The chaos would make this triggering, so if you're easily triggered it is not a good idea to watch this. Anyway, I use this to show the basics of DID all the time since it is a good visual representation of what DID is.

*trigger warning, video containing chaotic DID*

I would recommend Me, Myself & Irene, if you enjoy slapstick. This movie is quite a good representation of the process of self-discovery that, it seems, all persons with DID have to go through if they are to live life fully. The denial and stuffing it all down, the DID crisis, the switching between oblivious submissive amnestic host and acting-out dominant alter who is at long last breaking out of the dark prison inside, misdiagnosis with and medication for schizophrenia, coming out to others, delusions of separateness, covert switching and passing for each other, coming to terms with reality, internal conflict including unilateral body mods, revolving door crises and other struggles for executive control, co-consciousness, and finally fusion and further integration and new relationships and success in life. It is all part of surviving, then healing, then thriving in many new and wonderful ways. Along the way we also see how others see the person with DID. The fear, confusion, rejection. The getting acquainted (all over again). Later the acceptance and love.
Dx DID older woman married w kids. 0 Una, host + 3, 1, 5. 1 animal. 2 older man. 3 teen girl. 4 girl behind amnesia wall. 5 girl in love. Our thread.
