You pick up a wrench with your right hand, but that feels wrong. You swap the wrench to your left hand, but that feels wrong too. Right hand. Left hand. Right hand. Left hand. Wrenches in both hands.

I have this experience when writing sometimes. I also wear my watch on my right wrist, even though I'm right-handed, which I'm told is backwards.
I have ADHD. Possibly have another mental disorder but am not certain.

Same. Sometimes it feels wrong to do things with the right and/or the left hand, even if usually you use it in said hand!

You wake up one day and realize your house is a mess, you can't recognize yourself in the mirror and the last 8 months seem like a very bad dream. You can't make sense of anything and feel like you absolutely have no identity. That's been my experience recently.

****trigger warning????***

maybe? better safe than sorry I guess  "Just in case" things click into place and the lock tumblers all slip

Hi everyone! I have found it so easy to talk about things if I am "clever enough" and jokes are so fun, lol. So here goes...

you might be DID if....

You suddenly realize hearing people (outside ones) saying things like "I feel like I need someone to complete me." or "I just want to be recognized and loved." Makes you feel physically distressed. Because that's all "we" have ever wanted for "our" self. :D

It is so comforting, getting to know you all. Thank you for letting me shift my perspective about things enough to start getting real things finished that are going to make a huge difference to the (outside) people who love me. Whatever make "me" what "I" am.

The last few days, have been more whole and loved (inside) than I could have imagined when I first looked at DID outside a pop culture mystery (symptoms in "my" life that mess up reality).

"I" am making progress (I made a phone call to find out my MDs name and number. A way bigger deal than one might think. The fact that I had no idea who my MD was, lol...well, that should say all that needs to be said right there.)
