Congrats on the weight loss, then!
For the most part, as long as you use whatever calories you put into your body, it won't have an effect on the weight. Like, I can eat and eat, but I also will use almost all of what I eat, so I won't really gain anything. Calories and carbs are needed to keep the body going. It's when we have more input than output that weight starts to be gained (I know there's also genetic sh*t that affect weight, that's why I said "for the most part"). Maybe you can start doing some exercising, like yoga or something low-key, but could still help out a bit? I want to start working out again, but that hasn't happened yet, so I know how it can be hard to do sh*t like that. But you could always talk to the others that want to lose weight and discuss options and sh*t you could try and stuff (just, no f*#king diets, unless it's like a "no fast food" diet or something that'll actually be healthy/helpful to you. Otherwise diets are a waste of time and they usually aren't that healthy).
Lots of things are f*#ked up when it comes to DID.
Ehhh....I'm not one for those types of books either, but if you like it, that's cool that you found a book to enjoy.
