Ok, Lifelongthing, I'm sorry, but I don't want any misconceptions or wrong information brewing here, so...

ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED IN DRUGS AND THEIR EFFECTS READ THIS PLEASE!!!

Let's just go one by one. And please note, not all drugs are for everyone!

-- Pot: fairly simple. Gets you high, can calm people down, can help with depression in some people, can help with PTSD, pain, upset stomachs, anxiety, insomnia, and other issues. Can be prepared into food or smoked.

-- Alcohol: I don't think this really needs an explanation. Gets you drunk, can be a good or bad experience depending on how much you drink, who you're with, the environment you're in, etc.

-- LSD/acid: similar to shrooms, but those that have tried both have told me that trips from LSD are a bit easier to control, and it's easier to stop a trip from going "bad" and making it "good" again. Comes either in tab-form or liquid-form. Causes hallucinations usually related to color (colors will seem brighter, you'll see more of them, rainbows will seem to be everywhere for some people, etc)., but can also cause things to look like they're moving when they're not, and can cause hallucinations of other things such as a bird seeming like it's there when it's not. Can promote/provoke "deep thinking", usually thoughts regarding the mysteries of the universe (such as the point of life, why we're here, religious stuff, etc). Can cause people to become purely thought-focused and not have emotional reactions to thoughts (for example, someone can have a really dark thought about the world, but state it as a simple observation and not feel any emotional attachment to it or realize that it was "dark"). Can also cause people to feel emotions differently, such as mixing them with colors, like "I feel purple". This drug is to be respected. If done correctly/safely, it can be the best experience of your life. If done "wrong"/unsafely (such as taking it only due to peer pressure, or taking too much instead of starting slow), it can end up being bad trip, and it can grab you and be like "Oh no, you took this, now you will watch this". As long as you respect the drug and aren't, well, stupid about it, it's fine. Our first trip was done wrong, we took it for the wrong reasons and we took too much (trusting idiot friends instead of ourselves and our gut responses). We've tripped several times since then, and haven't had a bad trip since because we do it right. We take it when we want to and we don't take more than we want to/know we can handle.

-- MDMA/Molly (people get this mixed up with ecstasy all the time): MDMA/Molly is the PURE FORM of ecstasy. Ecstasy is the un-pure form of Molly- it's cut/made with different drugs, or unsafe chemicals, and it can be unknown what you're buying when you get Ecstasy. Molly is the pure form of ecstasy. It is usually cut with roots/herbs like sarsaparilla (aka the root used to make root beer), or vitamins like vitamin C, and then sometimes it does get cut with drugs like meth or speed, but usually you have to request that type of mixture. It comes in pressed-pill form and powder form. Molly was originally developed for relationship counseling purposes. It is designed to help people feel amazing, to make everything feel amazing, and to make everything seem amazing. It is designed to help people open up, feel more comfortable being honest, have an easier time expressing feelings/emotions, and it makes people happy by tapping into people's serotonin supply. (HOWEVER, this does NOT make the come-down that bad. 5 htp pills can help immensely with balancing out and replenishing serotonin, and those can be taken after you "roll"- what you do when you take molly, it's called "rolling". And the most it makes you feel when you come down is extremely tired and just "blah". Not a bad "blah". Just like a "I exist, whatever" blah. Kinda like, non-negative apathy, that type of "blah"). It is IMPORTANT to not take Molly too often, as you can burn yourself out that way (although, the good thing is, when you come down, you don't feel like you want to take anymore anyway. It's like your body goes "that was fun, and I'd like that high again, but I don't want to take anymore until I'm ready to again". Molly is a drug to be taken like, once a week, over the weekend, at the very most, and that's with taking 5 htp. Our personal restriction is that we will only take it once every other week at the most). It causes soft things to feel super-soft, it makes people feel amazingly happy, it makes everything seem awesome, it helps people bond and become closer, and to all of us in this system, it's the best drug ever. It is an upper, so it will increase your heart rate a bit, but not dangerously like speed or something (though it is something that might prevent you from taking it if you have a heart condition or something like that). It is important to drink water and stay hydrated while rolling, too. But otherwise, there's not much to worry about. Molly is a lot like pot. Pot is really hard/near impossible to OD on, and even when you manage to, you're simply going to be too stoned to move at all or something like that. Molly's similar. It's hard to OD on Molly, and if you find a way to, you'll simply be "rolling balls", the come-down will be a bit harder, or in the very, very rare case, you might have to seek medical attention (only to help monitor your heart rate), but people don't die from Molly like they can from Ecstasy (least, not anywhere near that easily).

-- Shrooms: haven't tried them yet, but want to. We are cautious about it because we've heard that it can be hard to make a trip "good" again if it goes bad, but we are still interested in trying it. As far as we know, shrooms can be eaten or made into a tea. They cause hallucinations similar to LSD/acid, though hallucinations for things such as patterns, things seeming like they're moving, or things that aren't there seem to happen more often/are stronger when they occur than with LSD (at least, from what we've heard from people who've done both).

-- Any other drug should not be tried! Ecstasy, meth, heroin, etc., should never be tried, thought of, or anything like that! They're too chemically, they're too risky, and there's just no reason to want to try them and risk getting addicted, or ruining your body/brain, or something like that.

The only drugs we strongly recommend people to try is pot (even though Molly is the best drug ever, it's a once-in-awhile drug. It's a weekend-party drug. It can't be an everyday thing like pot, and it's not as natural as pot and such).

I hope that helps.

jess likes to ice skate. but ive never tried it (none of my group here has tried it). id give it a shot for sure tho! id try a lot of things, but someone else in my group is over cautious and tends to hold me back, as we try to make decisions together. but thats fine. i manage. i think id be allowed to try ice skating.

i heard twilight is a really bad book, but thats from the perspective of jess, who is a wanna-be writer and studies literacy and all that, and her best friend, who is a self-proclaimed literary critic - reads literary criticisms a lot and generally knows what shes talking about. but its also a really popular book. not jens style and not mine, but another one in my group might pick it up. it seems that its technically written very badly, but it doesnt seem to be too bad for people to enjoy, so whatever. the popular interest conflicts with literary correctness or something.

we generally like to go out and do stuff. we went down to delmar loop today, and before that we drove out to st charles - both big places to walk around and shop and see things that you dont see everywhere. got an old fashioned style root beer float - home made ice cream and whatnot. really good. when we are stuck at home, we get on here and mess around. either on the forum or tv tropes or we are building a castle in minecraft. still prefer to get out, but its really cold lately. maybe well do more when it warms up some.

Well, there was the drow, too. The human was funny though... he was a Paladin that ran around with a rogue and a Cleric. He was constantly having to "go look at the scenery" while his friend the rogue stole some money for a boat ride or food or something.
-G

Yeah, Tiny's pretty bad@$$. We all love to play her. F*#king great character.

Humans can be boring, but only if you let them be. This human paladin sounds amusing, though. And drows are cool, long as they're paid or made to be on your side. :P

Hey, nice to kinda but not meet you I guess.
No offense, but it's going to bug my OCD to not have anything to call you. I'm either going to call you Tunes14 or I'll call you whatever nickname you might feel ok about giving, but I can't stand to just be like "Hey you, that black text that posts under Tunes14 username" all the time.

AliasForAFew wrote:Hey, how's it goin'? Saw your other post. Well. No, I didn't. Read it that is, but I know it's there. Maria wanted to make some guesses but maybe later.
Jacob and I are on board with the pot idea. Janus doesn't know how to feel about it, but isn't opposed exactly. Gabs is... Uh. I dunno. For the moment I guess she's still against it. Eric says he liked it. Smoking, I mean. He's done it before somewhere else. But he's more-or-less on board. Didn't ask the kids, don't think I will. Already know Mark's not up for it. Haven't asked Maria. I'm sure it's cool with her.
So. Uh. Majority rules.

Haha, nice. One thing we used to help those uneasy about the idea of letting us continue smoking (like Rain) was the fact that it has medicinal uses and it can help us with actual problems we have, like PTSD or making eating easier and such. Maybe that can help the others at least feel better about it? Rain wouldn't smoke herself, and she doesn't promote it, but she doesn't try to stop it or speak against it anymore because she's seen how much it can actually help us.

anyway, hell yeah for the dnd. i got a skype account - whoami2222. when we get the game goin, shoot me a message. i cant dm, but since i know a dm, i got access to tons of books. and i got someone i can ask for help if i need help with a sheet or rules or something. so if we get a dm, were set to go.

No offense, but I don't give enough of a sh*t to play games like that. And I don't like playing f*#king games like that anyway. They're annoying to me.

I'm a DM, and a few of us here (Cassandra, Dallas, Hawk, me, hell, even Cassie), share the DM role for the game we run currently. But we don't have skype so....yeah. Don't really know where to go from there.

Luna and I want to try shrooms. We've done LSD/acid, and we love tripping on that (we do it like once a month, tops). That's cool that the SO will let you have pot.

 Sorry, but this made me laugh. Yes, it's just a f*#king stereotype. Otherwise, Cassandra wouldn't have a boyfriend, and we wouldn't have had people at the game shop trying to hit on us while having people who don't play D&D still trying to hit on us as well. People will just think you're a bit of a nerd when you play it (google the term if you like), or if they're into things like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars or computer games or video games, they'll think you're cool. Either way, it doesn't stop you from getting laid.

This thread kinda often goes like "drugs drugs drugs" haha :P don't feel like I belong here maybe..

But it's nice seeing people post and stuff..

I dunno. Here things are okay.. Haven't really been out for a couple of days, which is a lot for me :P

So yeah.. Hey :P

It seems to go through cycles, actually. We had a drug-talk burst in the beginning, then it went off of the drug topic for a while, and now there's a new burst of drug-talk, but that's not all this thread is about or for, so don't feel like you're intruding or anything. This thread is for teens to talk and socialize together and have a place where they can talk about what they want and sh*t like that. Long as you're a teen, you belong here.

Gotta say, it's throwing us off with you not posting in different colors anymore, Lifelongthing. It's not a bad thing, it's just...with our OCD, and with Shay being used to seeing different colors, it's just always weird for us to see you post in only black text now and with no signature. That's all.

hay, thanks L.C.! that was awesome info!

Welcome. If there's one topic I know a lot about besides art, it's drugs, and that's partially because I like to spread the real information to help people actually know what they're about, what does what, what to look out for, etc. (Mainly it's in my own interest to shut people up from lecturing us about using them, but it's also to help those who might have misconstrued information, or who are curious, and such).

We've ice skated before. We found out we suck. But we still have fun and think it's fun, even if we do fall down a lot.

Ugh, Twilight...don't even get me started. Horrible books, horrible movies. It was like, reading the diary of a ditzy, drama-queen girl who's all like "I love him. Wait, no, I love this guy. No, I lied, I do love the other guy. Oh, I don't know what to choose, whatever shall I do?" Ugh, gag me. And then, it turns stalking into some sort of romantic thing, since that's basically what Edward is doing in the beginning, f*#king stalking Bella or whatever her name is. And she's just like "Oh, that's so romantic", and I'm like, "B*tch, you have someone f*#king popping up in your window at night! That's not normal! That's not supposed to be ok! Unless you're already together and planned for it to happen, this should not be seen as "romantic"!"

The only place I really like to go to is the Saturday Market. But that's only open during like, late spring/summer/early fall. Otherwise, I'm cool with walking around and sh*t like that, but for the most part, I like chillin' inside, watching Netflix or doing artwork or listening to music or sh*t like that.

Haha yeah I get that. We're trying a whole being more united thing and like.. I dunno, not being so separate on here. I think part of it is just the denial some are going through ("we can't have this many") and some who just aren't comfortable being themselves with a name and age and everything on here and most is just.. yeah, wanting a sort of united front I guess. It feels weird to us too but kinda good too :)

Someone suggested to us that we stop posting in different colors and be all united and sh*t like that. All of us basically said, "F*#k that sh*t". We can be united and know who we are and such. Teams and groups are still made up of individuals. It doesn't make us any less united to not go under the same name, or not have the same color, or anything. I mean, it's not like posting in the same color would change our differences in terms of our opinions on sh*t, what we like/dislike, how we act, etc. (That, and it drives our OCD crazy not knowing who's posting, both for ourselves and other people).

That's cool that it works for you though I guess. (And sorry to hear you're going through some denial. Cassandra's going through the same thing of "I can't have this many". Personally, though it's understandable I guess, it's getting annoying. It doesn't f*#king matter how many there all. All that matters is that we all heal eventually. That's it).

i can understand wanting a united front. our system could use that, especially with the unease with our newcomers. but i like having my own color on here and i like my name, i picked it for a reason. but yeah i can see the benefits of a more united front.

i'm watching the movie Twilight now, to see if i want to continue reading the book. movie and alcohol time, booyah!

Sounds awesome Rachelle :P :)

Yeah there are pro's and con's to everything. This place has really helped us heal and allowing ourselves to express ourselves separately has been such a good thing for us. And maybe we will go back to that later on (or tomorrow for that matter), but for right now it works for us. Each to their own :)

Not into chick flick movies like that, but wouldn't mind havin' some alcohol. Bit early in the day for that here. Not even 3pm just yet. Maybe I'll have a few drinks tonight though. 8)
