Wineaux and bigmike,
I tried TRE today. I'm not going to lie and say I felt like a new person afterward, but ... WOW ... I have never felt so ... relaxed in my entire life. I feel a bit out of sorts right now, but I am looking forward to doing it more. I was a bit self-conscious with the tremors (even though I was alone), so I am going to try to let go more next time.

Amazing stuff.

good to hear! yea all the stress and tension is something that gets released over time, not all in one sitting (i have no personal experience yet, but that's what i've read), but that's cool you noticed benefits right away.

did you end up buying a video?

I did. I found a reputable download source. It has the exercises, an explanation from the doctor about them, a session after the exercises where participants described their experiences and an interview with the doctor.

A weird thing happened though. I was still triggered, I could actually feel myself being triggered (this is after having done the exercises twice in 12 hours), and I gained this 5 second response time. It used to be "triggersnap," but now it's "trigger" 5 seconds "less snap, more logic." Still snapping, but it seems more thought out, less knee jerk.

Yes, I saw all of those videos. I went to Namaste publishing and was able to buy a download. I couldn't find anything on Youtube that really described how to do the exercises. However, I do wish I would have known how easy they are lol. There's an article on Livestrong that essentially shows how to do all 6 of the exercises. It's fine though - best $20 I ever spent!

i just came across that article, so the exercises in that article is the same as the ones in the instructional video? also is basically what they're doing in the video wineaux posted the open chest stretch? (assuming your referring to this link http://www.livestrong.com/article/48359 ... r-tremors/)

that's amazing the benefits your seeing so quickly, i'd be interested in knowing how much it's helping a few weeks from now.

I don't even have to do the full set of exercises. Example: If I feel restless before I go to sleep, I just do the part that you do while lying down - in my bed - and I sleep like a baby.

I questioned the thing - about how I seem to be less bothered lately. I thought I was imagining it. I rarely believe myself ... hard to explain. Anyway, my husband noticed that I let a lot of stuff go. He said I used to snap at every little thing, and now I'm just sort of getting the stimuli, closing my eyes, taking in a big breath, then moving on.

UNFORTUNATELY ... I have lately been exhausted around 6 p.m., I noticed this is because I've been working all day to just stop myself from reacting. It is hard work!

The TRE sort of helps me get all of that aggravation out of my body at the end of the day.
