Ignoring male waif

Postby BTK483 » Sat Apr 23, 2016 11:09 pm

Hello there,

I would like to move on from bpd male waif. I started to ignore him and stopped to talking to him. It cost me a huge heartbreak but I can't do this anymore. He is in a phase of being obsessed with me but he is very passive, therefore I'm sure he not gonna bother me. However, I was talking with my friend and she told me that it might be only a turn on for him. Is ignoring him is a good thing to do if I want to move on? Or it will only make him want me more?

Thank you very much for all response.

Ignoring people is like...initially they're going to try harder, to see if they can get your attention, but it's only to test your metal. Once you've stayed away from them long enough they pretty much give up. That's as someone who has ignored others and who has been ignored lol.

Assuming you're not moving to the other side of the country or anything like that, I'd suggest telling him outright. Is it going to break his heart? Yep. Is he going to paint you black because of it? Oh yeah. But it will put an end to things.

I agree with Casper, this is the best way in my opinion too, Yes he will paint you black but it will pass like Casper said. But you must do what you have to if you feel that its at the end...staying in contact because you will hurt him isnt healthy for you (two sides)

Drawing out the contact will only give him "false hope" (speaking from my own experience)

Self aware pwBPD will try and most often do see both sides, So hopefully one day he will see that you had to do this (for yourself) and for him.

Offtopic but whenever I hear the word "waif" I think of "wafer" and I wouldn't mind being compared to that.

Just tell him that you're breaking up with him. Why draw this out. If he reacts with some sort of aggression, one-up him so he gets scared of you
