Sounds like you need some Stumbleine in your life 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYdYXdRtpA8

For something really dreamy and ambient check out Bvdub http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72jkEUiLIdw

For some nice chilled beats listen to Rameses B http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8-vkQEpy0Q

Hope there's something there to enjoy.

Music is a big part of my life. It gives me access to emotions. I know how I come across here sometimes, but in person I'm not so bad... most of the time :D

Binaural Beats are an option - ԼƠƔЄ Signal 528 Hz (extended mix ) Theta binaural beats - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3FXUUjpEFQ

(That particular one is a little moody, but they have many... and there is a good range of Binaural style music which has the intent of reaching peaceful mind states)

If that is too light for your tastes... Psytrance Comes to Mind

Progressive Full On Psy Mix 2 2012 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziH2yE3NdO4

I hope some of these artists can be of help :)

Sigur Ros https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF6E47Pn6mY
Cranes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZnSik1HpWw
Alcest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTM9x-fEMwo I love this album! Its melancholic, but so dreamy it makes you fluctuate (plus it comes from black metal)
A Light in the Dark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fKFV9eXAZA Slightly black metal influenced too, but a bit controversial for me because it's like throwing up rainbows. Maybe you like it
Coldplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB-RcX5DS5A
Collection d'Arnell-Andrea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIFxcg1nS0o (always melancholic :/ but relaxing)

Thanks peoples :) I'm giving all of your suggestions a listen now. It's my birthday in half an hour and it always puts me on edge. Bad memories and such :/ So I'm gonna try and relax!
