Another blog on the same topic: Was I raped? I was in middle school, maybe 7th or 8th grade. My supposed friend took me to her neighbors house. He was older than me. As a joke they both wanted to see if I had any peach fuzz. My friend held me down while the guy pulled down my pants and underwear. There was no intercourse. I don't remember much after that. This has been etched in my brain since about 1982 or '83. Is there anything I can do about it or is it a moot point. Or, should I just forget about it?

Hi there. So sorry to hear this happened to you. I'm not sure if it would fit the technical definition of rape, but since it has bothered you for so long I wouldn't say that it's something you should "just forget." It was definitely a case of unwanted by you, and inappropriate behavior on the part of the other two individuals. Have you considered talking to a therapist about it? Sometimes getting it out to a professional allows them to help us work past issues that are really bothering or were traumatic to us.
