Do you ever feel like doing something drastic?

Postby billyblueeyes » Wed Apr 18, 2012 2:09 am

Just curious...when life gets stale...what to do? Do you ever feel like doing something drastic. I really feel like busting out tonight. What kind of drastic action would you guys take to break out of a rut? I'M 34 years years of age and feel like an infant! BBE

Try skydiving. Even if it doesn't get you out of the rut, at least you have a story to tell. I also heard it cures constipation.

edit: (in all seriousness, glad to hear you are feeling better)

Hahaha I'm laughing with you you trust me!!!!!!!!! I feel the same every day as my medications do help I miss the rush of off the handle mania and the often thrill seeking and adventurous life it brang me now........I sit scared to trigger myself into that state......last time I almost didn't get to come home.
So what is a fella to do live like a child.........or jump on his motorcycle and ride 160mph through the desert? Let me know when you figure it out....

Hey Billy Blue Eyes,

Lately I've been suffering from really bad mixed episodes so I'm looking forward to some dullness and predictability. :D

However, I've felt like that before. Sometimes you do just got to get out and do something. A few months ago I just drove to a friends house I hadn't seen in years and was like "we're going out for dinner now!"

Keep safe though and take care.

BTW - Skydiving scares the hell out of me. Your much more brave than me Gamer.

Skydiving sounds fun, but I don't trust myself to open the chute soon enough  .

Sometimes I feel like going jogging in the middle of an intense storm at 2 am, but that hasn't happened yet.

Right now, I'd like to knock over all the bookshelves and drawers in the house just so I could put them back. Moving things around is very relaxing to me.

A little less drastic than actual skydiving, but still fun and exciting .....skydiving in a wind tunnel!

Just don't open your mouth in the tunnel like I did. All the saliva in your mouth goes flying up into the sky, or in my case, the instructor was right in front of me and it hit him ! I was SO embarassed

^Cool story

I used to go out for a walk on the beach, call someone, get high/drunk, and whatever that came next, but I don't live near the beach anymore, so I fear that the next time I'll have to borrow someone's car (not a good idea) or just get drunk and either stay in this neighborhood, where I could easily get robbed/raped/beaten up if going outside, or walk down the centre of the city, where the chances of getting robbed/raped/beaten up on my way are exactly the same.

I sometimes want to color my hair green, purple, blue, or make it a rainbow, paint my face, put on a t-shirt with a print "F..ck you all!" and walk outside like that :D I'd go like that to snobby places like designer stores and some other places where this outfit would be totally inappropriate :D

That all your T-Shirt said? PFFFFT I got worse than that. Nasty and just plain offensive and I bought them for exactly the reason (complete loss of impulse control and risky behaviour)

I used to walk from home to town (5 mile hike) at 3 or 4 in the morning through some rather dodgy areas for the same reason.

Now i can live with bored because I can actually sit for a few hours and read a book and that right there is a blessing indeed.
