What may cause Autism

On the other hand, I have this online pediatric gastroenterologist who's now insisting neonatal bilirubin does not not cause autism though it may contribute to the development of autism that's already there. (Which seems like hair splitting to me). So I don't know. Pretty sure my dad has Asperger's, so there may be a genetic component. I'm sure the bilirubin did me no good, whether it caused autism or not.
