Haha, what warning messages would you like to see?
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

Okay, here's a warning for you: don't eat yellow snow.

Maybe so, but the $64,000 question is, when we catch you, will we hug you or scream at you?

I saw that too.

I think it would be a good idea to have a specific statement at the top of each of the different forums here that includes what kinds of content/attitudes those struggling with the disorders present here. The fact that these forums are meant as a place of healing and understanding the various disorders on the site, and that any non disordered person who could possibly become triggered/offended by these things (if they are unable to express themselves in a senstivite/sincere way) should address moderators, not the posters.

I think it fair to say that many of the PD's (especially the Cluster B's) have affected more than just the life of the person with the actual diagnosis. As such, we have 'victims' of the disorders postimg along side the disordered people, and when you have a situation like that it's not unusual to see friction and contravercy with so much pain from both sides of the same earth shattering coin.

The same for victims of childhood sexual abuse. I don't go into that forum much, but I'm sure that there are lurkers and perhaps posters who enjoy reading some of the stories and perhaps cause the odd problem here and there. The sexual disorders forum, the pedophies- that's hard to watch and could probably use a reminder of why these people are posting (for help, not harm) etc...

I admit I tend to stick to the PD boards for the most part because that's my own personal struggle; but I think it would be nice to see the team take an active interest in making such 'Warning/Caution' statments in the many areas onthe forum where there are obvious victims and abusers, posting side by side.

Even something as simple as saying that, yes when someone is in the thick of their mental illness they are often times abusive, but many of the memebers are in a process of healing themselves, and ask that they not be viewed as such, etc...

PD's are formed due to how our primary enviroment percived us and formed us to become this way. Having that environment surrounding us here where we are trying to heal- is very counter productive, even damaging as we allow ourselves to open up to our inner truth, for many of us the first time ever, in a very vulnerable way.

We justneed to be respected and allowed our fair chance to heal without prejuidice and projection Plata.

that's my 2c anyways

I made the same comment to some admin a few days ago. It is especially true in the HPD forum and the NPD forum. I don't think the waring is enough for cohabitation though. There would almost need to be a different forum/forums for victims.
This being said, from a practical point of view, that message forces me to scroll down a lot everytime I access the forum. If it could be smaller or "expandable", that would be better.
I desired love and fellowship, and I was still spurned. Was there no injustice in this? Am I to be thought the only criminal, when all humankind sinned against me?

There's another great new feature though- the Friends & Foes!
It's so cool, because by adding someone as a foe, you don't need to read thier posts and be triggered by them any more!!!

I think it's great myself and I posted a poll in the HPD forum, with more details here: histrionic-personality/topic66961.html check it out and tell me what you think?

Friends & foes- is it Good or Bad???

Not really 'blogging' yet, just getting the idea started and setting the boundries, so that I can let it all out in a safe environment.

I do love blogging!
I go through periods of it where I write about everything all the time.
Writing helps me thing clearly and see things better. I can also go back and see where I once was, and how things have changed in my life...

It's very therapudic actually.
You should try it
