Thanks, I signed up on GoodReads. Really cool.

I list what day I stayed the book, finished it, title and author, a five star rating, and how many pages. I started it when I was 13, lost it, found it again when I was 14 and have kept up since then. Almost 8 years now. With roughly one book per line. I have filled five pages front and back. I love my book notebook.

That's very cool!

Can you list your favorite ones here using your system?
No pressure though. Only if you feel like it :D

(Would be nice to make a list of other people's lists )

Here is how I normally write it, but I don't have my book with me, so I don't remember the dates exactly.

Date Started Dates Ended Title/Author Rating Pages
7/15/09 7/16/09 Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince/J.K. Rowling :D :D :D 652
11/6/12 (Still Reading) Asperger's Answer Book/Susan Ashley :) 320

That's how I note them, in an actual notebook. I think I have well over 500 books listed in there since I was 2003.

Cool, thanks for the sample :)

(I see you like fiction better... hehe)

I may be wrong, and there might be visible lists that I keep somewhere in my computer that I haven't even noticed yet. But I generally do this mentally a lot more than on paper/screen. I do like to make lists, but I don't like to maintain them. It starts to feel like an obligation (you know, once started, it has to be maintained). And it can be very disquieting when I eventually find some flaw in my own system. Maybe if I use some tool to help me with it (like the aforementioned site), it can take the bad part out of it.

I generally like books with stories and plots better, but even still, I just particularly find the book I am reading now not a very good book. Other similar books have been rated higher. I also like stories based off of true events, I just recently finished a couple of books written by foster carers about some of the children they cared for. Those were good books too- memiore type books. And Harry Potter is my biggest "Aspergerian" obsession I have. Not so much now that all the books and movies are done, but I once knew everything there was possible to know. All my school assignments centered around Harry Potter somehow, including my valedictorian speech when I graduated high school.

one of the most recent---a list of differences between a book i really like and two movies based on the book.

word lists can be fun, but i tend to get tired of them pretty soon. i was trying to think of words that have the letter combination '-lch.' i think i only came up with about ten. (i only speak one language, though.)

also lists of events on a television program i like.
definite fish from space (in a hat. try not to punch me.)

It's a list of my previous (plus my current) PF avatars with faces of women (I used to change them every few days). As I mentioned in the other thread, these are women I admire and identify with in some respect, especially in the way they're depicted in these images. It's also another list of music videos, since each of the avatars in this post is linked to one.

The videos illustrate the reasons why I chose the avatars to represent myself. So, in essence, it's really what the title says: a list of avatars I've used, a list of female faces I find attractive, and a list of videos/songs by these singers, all at once. I like things that have multiple purposes :)
