I'm addicted to amphetamines (ADHD meds), but I've been clean for over a year. Once an addict, always an addict. Also, I'm addicted to alcohol, but I've been sober for 7 days now. Amphetamines will always be my DOC, preferably amphetamines and alcohol together. Deadly combo for me but so good.

I have horrible impulse control when I am drunk, last time I was drunk I almost stabbed my friends for no reason.... I am trying to stay away from alcohol.

Yeah...if you have violent tendencies, try to stay away from alcohol. When I used to take ADHD meds and drank there was no issue with impulse control.

If you're serious about the stabbing incident, stay away from alcohol. I've seen what it does to some people. Don't mess your entire life up, because you drank too much.

Or.... you could not do drugs. I wish I could go back... You're 15, too... I wish I could go back to 15. Pot - whatever you are referencing- is not worth all the $#%^ that comes with it. You like skiing and hunting now, right? Not for long if you start doing drugs and/or alcohol. You won't find enjoyment in ANYTHING without a buzz. And it kills your brain. People don't like to admit it, but it's true.

Have sex before you start doing drugs. If you're going to get addicted to something, let it be sex- not drugs.... That's just my opinion though.

I am a complete adrenaline junkie. Adrenaline is better than pot in my opinion. I am not a 'pothead' I only smoke when i feel like $#%^, I have a vaporizer, and I am not addicted, it is just something to help me cope with the sh*tty reality of reality.
