It makes me so angry when people think that mental illnesses are things to joke about. Earlier today on Facebook, one of my Facebook friends shared a picture of a person eating cake batter and the caption beside it said, "I have an eating disorder. I'm about to eat dis order of fries and dis order of nuggets". When I saw that, I became so livid and angry. I haven't been diagnosed with an eating disorder myself yet, but I do believe that I may have one, given the ways that I will eat and behave when it comes to things like food. And don't you dare say that it was just a "joke". It's not right to joke about mental disorders or other serious things.
